Overview
Towns and Towers is a Minecraft mod created by Biban_Auriu. It falls into the adventure and world generation categories. If you want more structure variety when you travel across your map, this project provides new locations to find.
The project adds new villages, new pillager outposts, and new ships to your world. It changes how populated places appear without altering core gameplay rules.
What the mod adds
Default terrain generation can feel predictable once you visit a few standard towns. Towns and Towers addresses that by adding new village types directly into world generation. You'll find different settlement layouts as you travel between regions.
Hostile territory receives new content too. The mod adds new pillager outposts. These give you new enemy outposts to tackle during your travels.
You also get new ships that generate across the map. These maritime structures give you distinct places to visit when you travel across open water or coastal areas.
Server and client compatibility
Installation requirements depend on where you play. For multiplayer servers, the mod is required on the server side. On the client side, installation is optional.
This setup makes server management simple. A server owner can install the mod on the dedicated server, and players can join without downloading extra files to their own client instances. For singleplayer games, you can install it directly into your local setup.
Supported loaders and versions
Towns and Towers supports several platform setups. Look, you can install it on Fabric, Neoforge, or Quilt. In addition to standard mod loaders, it's packaged as a Datapack.
Version support is specific. The project works with Minecraft versions 26.3, 1.21.1, 26.1.2, 26.1.1, 26.1, 26.2, and 1.21.11. Make sure your game instance runs one of these exact versions before you load the files.

Biban_Auriu publishes Towns and Towers under the Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial Share Alike 4.0 International license. This license allows you to share and adapt the work for non commercial use, provided you follow the attribution and share alike terms.
