VeinMiner Enchantment

What this addon does V veinminer Enchantment is an addon for the Veinminer mod or plugin. But it introduces a single new enchantment called Veinmine. When the addon is installed, vein mining no longer works on every tool by default. Instead, you must obtain the enchantment through an enchanting table, anvil, or other vanilla enchantment sources. Only tools that carry the enchantment can trigger vein mining, and the base mod's block rules and configuration still apply. The enchantment uses the translatable key enchantment.veinminer-enchantment.veinminer and defaults to the name Veinmine. ## Who it suits This addon fits players and server operators who want vein mining to feel like a progression reward rather than a free utility. It works well on survival servers that already run Veinminer and want to gate the feature behind experience levels and enchanting luck. Because the base Veinminer mod is required, it isn't a standalone solution. ## Configuration The enchantment behavior is driven by a JSON file. On Fabric, Quilt, and NeoForge you open the mod jar and edit data/veinminer-enchantment/enchantment/veinminer.json. On Paper and Folia the file sits at plugins/veinminer/enchantmentSettings.json. The file exposes four numeric settings: weight controls how often the enchantment appears in the table, min_cost and max_cost set the level range where it can show up, and anvil_cost determines the experience cost when combining it in an anvil. Default values are weight 1, min_cost 15, max_cost 65, and anvil_cost 7. ## Compatibility and requirements The addon supports Fabric, Quilt, NeoForge, Paper, Purpur, and Folia. It's marked client-side optional and server-side required, meaning the server must have it installed while clients can join without it. Supported Minecraft versions are 1.21.1, 1.21.11, 26.1, 26.1.1, 26.1.2, 26.2, and 26.3. The base Veinminer mod or plugin must be present for the addon to do anything. The project is licensed under LGPL v3.0 only.
