Winterly

What Winterly adds to the game Winterly is a seasonal content mod built around winter and holiday themes. It introduces decorative blocks you can build with and cosmetic items you can wear. The most recognizable pieces are a Santa hat and wrapped presents you can place under a tree. The project began as a WinterJam 2021 entry and has continued updating since then. ## Who this mod suits If you run a server or single-player world that celebrates the holidays, Winterly gives you ready-made props without needing resource packs or datapacks. Builders get new block variants for festive builds. Players who enjoy cosmetic variety get wearable items that show up in first person and on other players. Because both client and server are required, everyone joining needs the mod installed. ## Verified capabilities - Holiday decorations: placeable presents and other seasonal blocks for building. - Wearable cosmetics: a Santa hat and similar items that render on the player model. - Multi-loader support: runs on Fabric, Neoforge, and Quilt with the same feature set. - Modern version coverage: releases exist for Minecraft 1.20.3, 1.20.4, 1.21, and 1.21.1. ## Compatibility notes The mod requires installation on both client and server. It supports three loaders - Fabric, Neoforge, and Quilt - but each loader is distinct; a Fabric jar won't load on Neoforge and vice versa. The project lists four specific Minecraft versions. Don't assume it works on versions between or outside that list. The MIT license means you can include it in modpacks and modify the code, but always check the repository for the exact terms. Recent repository notes mention a Neoforge tooltip fix, showing active maintenance across loaders.
