Overview of the modification
YUNG's Better Dungeons is a Java mod developed by YUNGNICKYOUNG. The project provides a complete redesign of Minecraft's dungeons.
If you want updated dungeon layouts in your world generation, this project gives you that overhaul. On Modrinth, the project is grouped under three categories: Adventure, Building & Decoration, and World Generation. It alters the structure of dungeons that generate across the world. Side support and requirements
The side requirements for this mod are strict and clearly defined.
Server-side operation is required. Your server needs the mod installed to build and place the redesigned dungeon structures during world generation. Without the mod on the server, the new dungeon structures can't generate.
Client-side installation is unsupported. You do not need to install the mod files on your local machine when connecting to a multiplayer server. The server handles all the structure placement and generation tasks on its own. If you host a dedicated server, your players can join with a standard client. In single-player worlds, the game's built-in internal server runs the mod files directly.
Supported loaders and versions
The mod runs on two mod loaders: Fabric and Neoforge.
Your game version must match the supported release list. The mod supports Minecraft 1.21, Minecraft 1.21.1, and Minecraft 1.21.4. So it also supports Minecraft 26.1.1 and Minecraft 26.1.2.
Don't expect the mod to work on unlisted releases or other mod loaders. Installing the mod on one of these exact versions ensures that your server loads the files properly without version conflicts.
