Ce face acest proiect

What It Does

Draggable Lists is a client-side mod that changes how you reorder entries inside Minecraft's list menus. Instead of pressing move-up or move-down buttons over and over, you click an entry and drag it to where you want it. The mod covers the resource pack list, the world list, the datapack list, and the server list, so any menu where you'd normally shuffle entries one click at a time now works with a drag instead.

If you keep a long list of servers or resource packs and need to move one entry from the bottom to the top, you know how many clicks that used to take. This mod turns that into a single drag motion, which matters more the longer your lists get.

Compatibility

Draggable Lists runs on Fabric, Quilt, and NeoForge. It supports Minecraft 1.21.8, 1.21.7, 1.21.6, 1.21.5, and 1.21.4 specifically. Those are the exact versions the project lists, not a continuous range, so don't assume it covers anything outside that set.

It's a client-side mod. The project marks server-side support as unsupported, meaning you install it for your own game, and it plays no role on a server install. You won't need to push it to a server to get the drag-to-reorder behavior in your own client menus.

Who It's For

This is a small quality-of-life pick for anyone who keeps a lot of resource packs, worlds, datapacks, or server entries around and is tired of clicking through reorder buttons. Look, modpack builders and people who maintain long server lists are the obvious audience, since those are the lists that grow long and need frequent reshuffling. If your lists are short, the payoff is smaller, but the mod adds no overhead when you're not using it and just changes how dragging works in the menus it touches.

The project is filed under Building & Decoration and Utility & Quality of Life on its listing, which fits how it behaves: it doesn't add new blocks, items, or mechanics. It smooths out an existing menu interaction that every player already runs into.

License and Support

Draggable Lists is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0, so the source is open for anyone to read or build on under those terms. It's made by mrmelon54, with the logo credited to CarbonGhost, and the project keeps an official Discord server for support and community discussion around the mod.
