Grappling Hook Mod: Restitched

What it does Grappling Hook Mod: Restitched adds grappling hooks that let you swing, pull, and launch across the world. The hooks come with modifiers that change how they behave - force fields that push mobs away, double hooks for longer reach, and other upgrades you can mix into the tool. It's built around physics that feel weighty and deliberate, not instant teleportation. You aim, fire, and the rope plays out with momentum. ## Origin and scope This is an unofficial fork of Yyon's original Grappling Hook Mod, which started on Forge in 2015 and ran through MCreator before moving to proper code. The fork began at the 1.19.2 version of v13 with a clear goal: bring the mod to Fabric and Quilt and keep it current. That goal is met. Current work focuses on enhancements and long-term maintenance rather than basic compatibility. ## Compatibility The released versions support Minecraft 1.19.2, 1.19.4, 1.20, 1.20.1, 1.20.2, and 1.20.4 on both Fabric and Quilt loaders. Both client and server must have the mod installed. The GitHub repository shows active development targeting newer versions, but only the versions listed on Modrinth have public releases. ## License and credits The mod is licensed under GNU GPL v3.0 only. Core credit goes to Yyon for the original mod, Mayesnake for textures, Nyfaria for the Forge 1.18 and 1.19 updates, and CG360 for the Fabric and Quilt port from 1.18.2 onward. Translations exist for Russian, French, and Brazilian Portuguese. ## Development note The main GitHub branch is marked as unstable and not for general use. Stable releases come from the Stable-V1 branch. If you want to translate or contribute features, the development branch is the place to do it, but players should stick to the released jars.
