Plane Advancements changes how Minecraft displays your advancements. Instead of a vertical list that scrolls off screen, it spreads them across a 2D plane. This makes better use of space and gives you more control over the layout.
You can choose from different arrangement modes. One mode organizes advancements into a springy graph. Lines can be locked to 90-degree angles, like the old Achievement screen, or set to diagonal. You can also drag individual advancements with the right mouse button. Honestly, when released, they settle into place with a gentle animation.
Another mode splits each advancement tab into a compact grid. This keeps sub-trees separate while reducing wasted space. The goal is to show all advancements on a single screen without scrolling.
The mod is designed for players who find the default advancement screen too tall or disorganized. It suits those who want a cleaner overview or enjoy customizing their UI. What you get works client-side only and requires Fabric.
Plane Advancements is compatible with Better Advancements. Using them together gives a larger window and adds features like progress tracking and colored lines. It also works with AdvancementsFullscreen, though the spacing may not align perfectly.
It doesn't currently work with Paginated Advancements or AdvancementInfo Reloaded. These incompatibilities are noted as-is; no guarantees are made about future updates or workarounds.
The mod doesn't alter advancement data or progress. It only changes how existing advancements are positioned and interacted with on screen. All functionality depends on the Fabric loader and the Minecraft versions listed in the official project record.
