Universal Graves

What it does Universal Graves places a grave when you die and stores your inventory and experience inside. The grave can be protected from other players for a set time, after which it can optionally drop its contents on the ground. You can require a cost to unlock the grave - free, creative-only, an item, or experience levels - and the mod can give you a death compass that points to your grave. A GUI opens when you click the grave, and shift-clicking with an empty hand does a quick pickup. All messages, hologram text, and formatting use Simplified Text with variables like player name, coordinates, death cause, and item count. ## Who it's for Server operators who want a death-chest system they can tune without writing code. It works on vanilla survival, PvP servers, and modpacks that run on Fabric or Quilt. Because the mod is server-side required, players can join without installing it unless the pack uses custom grave models that need client resources. ## Main capabilities - Configurable protection window and self-destruction timer, both in seconds, with an option to use real-world time instead of server tick time. - Unlock cost system supporting free, creative, item, or level payment types. - Death compass that points to the player's own grave. - Click-to-open GUI and shift-click quick pickup. - Remote admin actions: remove protection or break the grave for another player. - Experience storage modes: none, vanilla, drop, percent of points, or percent of levels, plus an alternative XP orb entity to avoid duplication with other mods. - Placement rules: per-player grave limit, max search distance, shift retries, fluid handling, and block restoration after breaking. - Damage-type blacklist so certain deaths (like void or /kill) don't create graves. ## Compatibility notes Loader: Fabric (Quilt supported by inheritance). Minecraft versions explicitly listed: 26.3-rc-1, 26.3, 26.2, 26.1.2, 26.1.1, 26.1, 26.1-rc-3, 1.21.11, 1.21.11-rc2.
