VeinMiner Hotkey

What this addon does VeinMiner Hotkey is a client-side addon for the Veinminer mod. It changes the default behavior so you only vein-mine while holding or toggling a bound key. A dynamic crosshair highlights the blocks that'll break, and you can cycle through mining patterns by scrolling while the hotkey is held. Holding Shift while scrolling adjusts the pattern depth or width instead. The pattern editor opens with a separate key and is also reachable through the mod menu. ## Who it's for Players who want manual control over when vein-mining activates. If you prefer to mine normally most of the time and only chain blocks on demand, this addon gives you that switch without disabling the server-side feature entirely. ## Verified capabilities - Requires the Veinminer mod or plugin on the server; in single-player you must install Veinminer on the client as well. - Adds a hold hotkey (default Y or Z depending on keyboard layout) and an unbound toggle hotkey, both rebindable in the client controls screen. - Shows a crosshair preview that highlights the vein blocks before you break them. - Lets you select patterns by holding the hotkey and scrolling; hold Shift while scrolling to change depth or width. - Provides a pattern configuration screen (default key O) accessible via the mod menu. - Respects all server-side block rules and settings; the server can disable the client addon or force block highlighting to render through blocks with the /veinminer settings client command. ## Compatibility and side requirements - Client side: required. - Server side: unsupported (the addon does nothing without the server-side Veinminer mod/plugin). - Supported mod loaders: Neoforge, Fabric, Quilt. - Supported Minecraft versions: 26.3, 26.2, 1.21.1. - License: GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only. Works alongside the Veinminer Enchantment addon if both are installed.
