Minecraft Seed Map

Explore any Java seed: biomes, structures, spawn and slime chunks, all generated in your browser.

Quick answer:Paste your seed (type /seed in game to see it), pick your version and drag the map around. Structure icons show where villages, temples, strongholds and more generate; click one for its coordinates and a /tp command.

Java 26.x uses the 1.21.4 world generation model here. Tested against a real 26.3 server it matched 101 of 104 structure positions and 194 of 200 biome samples. The new Dappled Forest (26.3) and Sulfur Caves (26.2) are not shown yet.

Common structures appear when you zoom in; rare ones stay visible when zoomed out.

How accurate is it?

Everything is generated in your browser with the open-source cubiomes library, and we checked it against real Minecraft servers (Java 1.21.4 and 26.3): 101 of 104 sampled structure positions were real structures, and at least 194 of 200 biome samples matched. Your seed is never sent to our server.

Frequently Asked Questions

In Java Edition type /seed in chat (cheats or operator rights needed on servers). In singleplayer you can also see it in the world's settings when you create or edit it. Bedrock shows the seed on the world settings screen.
The biomes do: since 1.18, Java and Bedrock generate the same biomes from the same seed. Structure positions are different on Bedrock, so the structure icons are for Java only.
Java 1.16 to 26.3. For 26.x the map uses the 1.21.4 generation model, which still matches almost everything; only the newest biomes (Dappled Forest and Sulfur Caves) are missing.
About 1 in 10 chunks is a slime chunk. Slimes can spawn there below Y 40 in any Overworld biome, which makes them the place to build a slime farm. Turn the layer on and zoom in to see them.
One block in the Nether is 8 in the Overworld. Divide Overworld X and Z by 8 to get where to build a portal in the Nether; the map shows these next to your cursor.
No. The world is generated in your browser. The share link keeps the seed in the part of the URL after #, which browsers never send to the server.
Since 1.18 biomes are 3D. The map shows the surface (Y 64); cave biomes like Lush Caves, Dripstone Caves and the Deep Dark sit below it. The Biome Finder searches those at cave depth.
Very close. In our tests against real servers 101 of 104 icons were real structures. Icons mark the structure's starting chunk, so the building itself can reach a little beyond the icon.
