What BedrockIfy does BedrockIfy is a Fabric mod that brings a long list of Bedrock Edition behaviors into Minecraft Java Edition. The project targets players who switch between editions or simply prefer Bedrock's UI and movement quirks. Every feature can be toggled from an in-game settings menu so you keep only what you want. S1 S2 ## Visual and UI changes The mod replaces the vanilla dirt background in option screens with the rotating title-screen panorama. Loading screens gain Bedrock-style tips. A position and paper-doll overlay appears on screen, and the HUD fades dynamically when inactive. Chat formatting shifts to match Bedrock's look. Held items show enchantment, book, and potion descriptions in a tooltip. S1 S2 ## Gameplay and animation tweaks Third-person eating animations and idle hand animations play like they do on Bedrock. The fishing hook renders in 3D. Cauldrons accept dyed water and potions. Sun glare, light-block shading, and Bedrock-style grass and water color noise are added. Bonemeal behaves like Bedrock's for flowers and sugar cane. Baby villagers get larger heads. S1 S2 ## Movement and building helpers Creative flight loses its drift momentum. Pressing space while airborne stops elytra flight instantly. Reach-around block placement lets you place blocks around corners without moving. A quick armor swap keybind exchanges worn armor with the hotbar. S1 S2 ## Compatibility and requirements BedrockIfy runs on Fabric only. The Modrinth record lists client-side required and server-side optional. Supported Minecraft versions are 26.2, 26.1.2, 26.1.1, 26.1, 1.21.11, 1.21.10, 1.21.9, 1.21.8, 1.21.7, 1.21.6, and 1.21.5.
