Qué hace este proyecto

What it does Better Beacon Placement changes how you build beacon pyramids. Instead of placing each mineral block by hand, you right-click the beacon while holding a valid mineral block and the mod puts it in the next open base slot. Sneak and right-click to dump the whole stack at once. When you break the beacon, every base block breaks with it and drops at the beacon's position. Blocks that get replaced during placement can be set to drop on top of the beacon instead of vanishing. Bedrock is never replaced. The behavior is configurable: you can disable base breaking on beacon break, and you can toggle whether replaced blocks drop on top. Both options default to on. The mod is minimal. It adds no new items, no recipes, no GUI beyond the config screen. It does one thing and stays out of the way. ## Who it's for Players who build beacons regularly and want to skip the repetitive placement grind. Server owners who want a quality-of-life tweak without adding content or changing progression. Pack makers looking for a lightweight utility that works across multiple loaders. Anyone who has ever misplaced a block in a pyramid and had to dig it out. ## Compatibility and requirements The mod runs on Fabric, Forge, Neoforge, and Quilt. It's server-side only; clients don't need it installed. Supported Minecraft versions are 26.3, 26.2, 26.1.2, 26.1.1, 26.1, 1.21.11, and 1.21.10. No other versions are listed. There are no declared dependencies. The license is All Rights Reserved, so redistribution outside CurseForge or Modrinth isn't permitted. ## Configuration Two options exist in the config file. breakBeaconBaseBlocks (default true) controls whether breaking the beacon also breaks and drops the base blocks. dropReplacedBlockTopBeacon (default true) controls whether a block displaced by a mineral block drops on top of the beacon. Both can be toggled independently. ## Known limits Bedrock blocks in the pyramid are never replaced. The mod doesn't affect conduit placement; a separate mod by the same author handles that. No client-side features exist - no HUD, no preview, no keybinds beyond the standard sneak and use keys.
