What it does
Create: Some Assembly Required is an add-on for Create and Farmer's Delight. It lets you build custom sandwiches and burgers. You place a Sandwiching Station in your world. Then you add bread slices, burger buns, or other ingredients on top. You can also add potions. Once the sandwich is ready, you break it to pick it up. You can place it down again later by shift-right-clicking.
How it works
The hunger and saturation restored by a sandwich match the sum of its ingredients. If a sandwich has at least two unique ingredients, excluding bread and potions, it grants a Comfort buff. Burgers grant a Nourishment buff instead. The duration of this effect grows as you add more unique ingredients. This encourages mixing different foods rather than stacking the same item.
Automation
You can automate sandwich production using Create's deployers. Spouts can add fluids like potions, honey, or chocolate to the sandwich. Real talk, the mod includes a list of compatible fluids in JEI. This makes it easy to set up a production line for specific sandwich types.
Customization
You can customize how items appear and behave on sandwiches using data packs. Folks who try this can define custom food stats, display names, and sounds for specific items. Folks who try this can even make inedible items appear on sandwiches if you create a JSON file for them. The data pack format may change between Minecraft versions, so check the GitHub repository for the correct branch.
Compatibility
This mod requires both Create and Farmer's Delight. It supports Minecraft versions 1.20.1 and 1.21.1. What you get works with Forge and NeoForge loaders. Both the client and server need the mod installed. The project is licensed under the MIT License.
