Nuestro resumen

Qué hace este proyecto

What this module does WATERMEDIA: Multimedia Binaries is a companion library that ships pre-compiled native libraries required by WATERMEDIA V3. It contains FFmpeg 8.1.2 built with JavaCPP 1.5.14 (LGPLv3+ profile, without GPL encoders), the JavaCPP JNI glue layer, yt-dlp for video fetching, and BotGuard v0.1.2 for download verification. On first launch WATERMEDIA extracts the correct binaries for your operating system and architecture, then loads them automatically. No separate FFmpeg, yt-dlp, or BotGuard installation is ever needed. ## Platform support The module provides verified natives for five platform - architecture pairs: Windows x86_64, Linux x86_64, Linux aarch64, macOS x86_64, and macOS aarch64. Windows aarch64, Android aarch64, and Android x86_64 are explicitly unsupported. ## Client vs. server Minecraft clients must have this module installed alongside WATERMEDIA. Dedicated servers can omit it entirely; the server-side code path skips native extraction when FFmpeg is disabled. The jar has no independent startup lifecycle - it's initialized by WaterMedia.start(...) after configuration is ready and stopped by WaterMedia.stop(). ## Compatibility Supported Minecraft versions are 1.18.2, 1.19.2, 1.20.1, 1.21.1, 1.21.5, 1.21.11, 26.1.2, and 26.2. Supported mod loaders are Fabric, Forge, and Neoforge. Both client and server sides are marked required in the project metadata, but the server requirement is satisfied by simply not loading the natives on a dedicated server. ## Licensing The module's own code is released under the PolyForm Strict License 1.0.0. Bundled components keep their original licenses: FFmpeg under LGPL-3.0-or-later, JavaCPP under Apache-2.0, libva/libdrm under MIT, winpthreads under MIT/BSD-3-Clause, XZ for Java under 0BSD, and other codecs under their respective permissive, LGPL, MPL, or Apache terms. Full license texts and notices ship under META-INF/licenses/.
