overview
Cobbleworkers is a server-only companion for the Cobblemon mod. It repurposes the Pasture Block so that Pokémon can be assigned jobs. The mod works with the 1.21.1 version of Minecraft and appears under the Technology and Utility & Quality of Life categories on Modrinth.
features
The core feature is the ability to turn the Pasture Block into a job hub. Jobs are defined in datapacks, and the mod ships with several built-in packs that show how to set up common tasks. Server owners can also write their own datapacks to create custom jobs.
configuration
Each job can be toggled on or off in a configuration file. The file also lets you restrict which Pokémon are allowed to perform a given job. When the integrated server is used, the mod integrates with Cloth Config and Mod Menu so players can adjust settings from the in-game menu. Real talk, on dedicated servers the same file must be edited manually.
compatibility
The mod runs on the server side only; there's no client component. It supports the Neoforge and Fabric loaders and is built for Minecraft 1.21.1. No other versions are listed as compatible.
development status
The GitHub repository hosts the last open-source release, which is no longer actively maintained. Development has moved to a private codebase that adds datapack-based job creation, and that version is currently closed source.
