Il nostro riassunto

Cosa fa questo progetto

What Equator does for you Equator is a rendering library built for Minecraft mod developers. It provides the low-level graphics primitives and helpers that other mods can depend on instead of rewriting the same boilerplate. Because it is a library, you won't see new blocks, items, or gameplay changes after installing it. You install it because another mod you want to play requires it. The code runs entirely on the client. The server side is unsupported, so a dedicated server doesn't need Equator and won't load it. If you run a client that connects to a vanilla or modded server, the library works as long as the client has it. ## Supported environments Equator targets the Fabric and Quilt mod loaders. So it doesn't support Forge or NeoForge. The project lists explicit compatibility with Minecraft 1.21, 1.20.4, 1.20.3, 1.20.2, 1.20.1, 1.20, and 1.19.4. Treat each version as individually verified; don't assume versions between those releases work unless they appear in the list. ## License and distribution The library is distributed under the GNU Lesser General Public License v2.1 only. But that license permits linking from mods with different licenses while keeping Equator itself copyleft. You can find the source on GitHub and the releases on Modrinth and JitPack. ## Who should install this Install Equator if a mod's documentation or dependency list names it. Do not install it on its own expecting visible features. Mod authors use it to handle vertex buffers, shader programs, and render-state management without duplicating effort across projects.
