GPUBooster
di Mr.Toad
GPUBooster is a client-only optimization mod for Fabric, Quilt, and NeoForge that adds OpenGL 4.5 DSA rendering paths, buffer pools, and SIMD math to modern Minecraft versions.
Il nostro riassunto
Cosa fa questo progetto
What GPUBooster does GPUBooster rewrites parts of the game's render pipeline to use OpenGL 4.5 Direct State Access (DSA). Instead of binding buffers before every draw call, the mod creates persistent VBO, EBO, FBO, and texture objects and reuses them through a configurable pool. And it can also swap depth textures for renderbuffers (RBO) where supported and runs frustum culling and weather calculations through the JDK Vector API for SIMD acceleration. The mod targets the render thread and loading systems; it doesn't change world simulation. ## Who should use it Players running Fabric, Quilt, or NeoForge on Minecraft 1.21, 1.21.1, 1.21.11, 26.1, 26.1.1, 26.1.2, or 26.2 who have a GPU that supports OpenGL 4.5 or higher. The mod is built to work alongside Sodium or Embeddium and Iris shaders, though the RBO depth feature is explicitly incompatible with shader packs. If your hardware only exposes OpenGL 4.3 or 4.4, DSA and RBO features will be unavailable at runtime. ## Required JVM argument SIMD vectorization relies on the incubating Vector API. You must add
