What Lost Relics adds
Lost Relics puts four artifacts into Minecraft's ancient structures: the Cursed Amulet, the Smoking Mirror, the Triple Toothed Snake and the Turquoise Eye. The idea is loot that does more than raise stats or add a potion effect. Each relic has its own unusual power, and each one carries side effects.

Where to find the relics
You will find them in the temples deep in the jungles of the world. In a Jungle Pyramid, a relic rests upon a Jungle Altar.
If you place a jungle relic on an altar that already holds one, it rerolls. The new relic will be neither of the jungle relics that were already there.
Cursed Amulet
The amulet makes you undead, and you visibly turn into a skeleton. Your armor and attack damage go up or down depending on whether you are exposed to sunlight. Other undead stop actively targeting you, you become immune to negative status effects, and you've a chance to be resurrected when you die.
The costs are social and physical. Nearby animals panic, villagers dislike you, iron golems attack you instantly, and you take more fire damage.
Smoking Mirror
When worn, the mirror reflects half of the damage you take in the form of a smoke ball. When used, it summons 4 temporary copies of you. If you use it while sneaking, it summons a Mirror Demon instead. If the demon's target is a player, it copies that player's equipment.
The listed side effect is that phantoms will always spawn at night.
Triple Toothed Snake
This relic is a blade. Use it while sneaking and it siphons all non-beneficial status effects from you and imbues them into the blade. Those imbued effects can be applied to mobs you attack. They can also be extracted into Tainted Blood Crystals by crafting.
A Tainted Blood Crystal can be used as a projectile or brewed into potions. The catch is that you cannot heal while the blade is cooling down after siphoning.
Turquoise Eye
The eye highlights mobs at full health. Attacking a highlighted mob always results in a critical hit, and it weakens and slows that mob. Real talk, the eye also points toward nearby chests and valuable ores, and this can be toggled.
In return, you can't become invisible, you're always highlighted to others, and monsters can detect you through walls.
Compatibility and requirements
Lost Relics supports Fabric and Neoforge. The Minecraft versions listed on Modrinth are 26.3, 26.1.2, 26.1.1, 26.1 and 26.2.
