Datapack Installer

What it does Datapack Installer is a Fabric mod that changes how you add datapacks to a world. Instead of copying files into every world folder, you drop datapacks - zipped or as folders - into a single datapacks directory. The mod then surfaces them in the vanilla data pack selector when you create a world or pause in singleplayer. On a dedicated server, the same folder is copied into the active world's datapack folder at startup. ## Client behavior With the mod installed on your client, the datapacks folder appears in your game directory after the first launch. Any packs placed there show up in the Data Packs screen during world creation or while paused. You can enable or disable them per world using the normal selector. The mod works with the built-in resource and data pack UI, so there's no new interface to learn. Packs can be added or removed while the game is running and will appear after reopening the selector. ## Server behavior On a dedicated server, place datapacks in the datapacks folder at the server root (next to eula.txt and server.properties). When the server starts, those packs are copied into the active world's datapack folder. If you delete or replace the world, the packs carry over as long as the mod's folder stays intact. So this is useful for servers that frequently regenerate worlds but want the same datapacks applied automatically. ## Known limitation The mod can't persist datapacks that rely on feature flags. If a pack requires a flag that wasn't active when the world was created, enabling it through the mod only lasts until you leave the world. The built-in bundle datapack is one example. ## Compatibility Requires Fabric Loader 0.15.0 or newer.
