What it does
Immersive Structures places new buildings in the Minecraft overworld. The goal is to add structures that fit the look and feel of their specific biomes. One project aims to include around 30 unique structures by the time it's complete. These are new additions. The mod does not change any existing vanilla structures.
Compatibility
You need this mod on the server side. It's optional on the client side. The mod supports Minecraft versions 1.21, 1.21.1, 1.21.2, 1.21.3, 1.21.4, 1.21.5, 1.21.6, 1.21.7, 1.21.8, 1.21.9, 1.21.10, and 1.21.11. It works with Forge, Fabric, Quilt, Neoforge, and as a Datapack. The author states there will be no backports for versions below 1.19 for the mod and below 1.18.2 for the datapack.
How it works in your world
You can add this to an existing world. Look, new structures will only appear in chunks that generate after you install the mod. They'll not pop up in areas you've already explored. If you want to find a specific structure, you can use the locate command. For versions 1.19 and newer, the command is /locate structure imst:[structure_from_list]. For 1.18.2, it is /locate imst:[structure_from_list].
Who it's for
This mod suits players who want more variety in their overworld without breaking the vanilla aesthetic. It works well with other world generation mods like Terralith, Oh Biome You'll Go, and Biomes O' Plenty. What you get also pairs with other structure mods such as Town&Tower and Repurposed Structures. You can use it in modpacks, but you must give credit and link to the project page. The author doesn't accept commissions or monetary support.
Updates and support
Updating to a newer version is safe. If you run into serious problems, the author asks that you report them. You can report bugs or make suggestions on the GitHub repository or via Discord. The mod is available on Modrinth. A author notes that while it can be used on third-party platforms like Aternos, you should download it from Modrinth, not CurseForge.
