Bad Throws Overview Bad Throws is a Fabric mod designed to eliminate randomness in projectile motion by always selecting the most extreme possible force vectors. This helps test the reliability of throw-dependent systems under worst-case conditions. ## How It Works Minecraft applies random variance to the initial force vector when launching projectiles or dropping items, creating a spread of possible outcomes where central values are more likely. This mod overrides that behavior, forcing the vector to one of the corners of the uncertainty cube - simulating a theoretically unlucky throw. It affects player death item scatters, dispenser and dropper outputs, general item and tile drops, and all thrown projectiles such as arrows and ender pearls. ## Purpose and Use Case Many redstone contraptions, pearl bridges, arrow traps, and item sorters rely on precise throws. Small deviations can cause failures. Bad Throws allows creators to verify their designs function correctly even when every throw follows the maximum deviation path, removing reliance on luck during testing. ## Configuration and Access Each feature in the mod can be toggled independently per server. Configuration is accessible via the client-side mod menu, but only players with permission level 2 or higher can modify these settings. This ensures that casual players cannot alter core mechanics while giving administrators control over testing environments. ## Compatibility and Requirements Bad Throws requires Fabric Loader and operates exclusively on the server side. It doesn't function when installed only on the client. The mod supports Minecraft versions 26.2 and 26.1.2. No other mod loaders or game versions are supported. So it is licensed under the GNU General Public License v2.0 only.
