BCLib Forge

What this mod is for BCLib Forge is an unofficial port of the BCLib library that BetterX mods depend on. The original library runs on Fabric. This port makes it available on Forge for Minecraft 1.20 and 1.20.1 so that Forge versions of BetterEnd, BetterNether, and other BetterX mods can load and work. It doesn't add new blocks, biomes, or gameplay features on its own. You only need it because another mod lists it as a required dependency. ## Loaders and versions The mod targets Forge only. It doesn't run on Fabric, NeoForge, or Quilt. Supported Minecraft versions are 1.20 and 1.20.1. Both client and server must have the mod installed. ## How it differs from upstream Upstream BCLib is developed by the BetterX Team for Fabric. This port keeps behavior as close to the original as possible. Changes are limited to what's needed for Forge compatibility and the target Minecraft versions. The port is maintained by Raijin2312, not by the BetterX Team. ## Where to report issues Don't file bugs on the official BetterX GitHub or Discord. They don't maintain this port. Use the port's own issue tracker on GitHub instead. If a problem in this port somehow affects the upstream community, contact the port maintainer directly. ## For mod developers The library exposes utilities for world generation, recipe builders, and atomic progress listeners. Recent upstream changes include recipe input resolution at serialization time, more solid tag registration aligned with 1.21 behavior, and default methods in AtomicProgressListener to avoid interface mismatch crashes. If you're building a mod that depends on BCLib, declare the dependency using semantic versioning so your mod does not load with an incompatible library version.
