Bound!

What Bound! does Bound! is a datapack that adds a single new enchantment called Bound. And it goes on boots and lets you jump again while you are already in the air. Press the jump key a second, third, or fourth time depending on the level you have. Bound I gives one extra jump, Bound II gives two, and Bound III gives three. The enchantment is exclusive with Feather Falling, so you've to pick one or the other on a given pair of boots. ## Where to get it You'll not find Bound on an enchanting table or from villagers. The only source is Ominous Vaults inside Trial Chambers. Books drop with a random level between I and III, so you may need to open a few vaults before you land the level you want. ## Multiplayer performance The author notes that server-side performance improved significantly starting with version 2.1. If your connection to the server runs above 100 ms ping, the extra jumps can feel a little less responsive. The pack still works, but the timing gets tighter. ## Compatibility and requirements Bound! runs as a datapack, so it loads on the server and is optional on the client. The Modrinth project lists support for Fabric, Forge, Neoforge, Quilt, and the plain datapack format. Declared Minecraft versions are 26.2, 26.1.2, 26.1.1, 26.1, and 1.21.11. No other versions are claimed. ## Who this is for If you like parkour, speedrunning, or just want more movement options without installing a heavy mod, Bound! is a lightweight pick. It adds one mechanic, ties it to existing loot, and stays out of the way otherwise.
