What the mod does
Collector's Reap is an addon for Farmer's Delight. It adds wild crops and gathered ingredients to your world. You'll find these plants during your travels, bring them home, and cultivate them for cooking. The mod runs on Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge or Neoforge. Both client and server installations are required.
Wild crops and cultivation
You'll need to visit specific biomes to find each crop.
Pomegranates grow on bushes in Nether Warped Forests. You can farm them in the Nether or bring them to the Overworld. Overworld bushes need pollination by bees to bear fruit. Planting on nylium or Rich Soul Soil speeds up growth.
Lime bushes grow in Flower Forests. These bushes need bee pollination to produce fruit. You can slice the harvest or cook with it.
Portobellos appear in small patches in Meadows. You can grow a single mushroom into a colony by planting it in the dark on Rich Soil.
Meals and drinks
The mod expands your kitchen options with plenty of new recipes.
Pomegranate harvests give you slices and seeds. Here's the thing, you can bake pomegranate cake, mix pink limeade, roast crimson carrots, or make a deluxe salad. Meat dishes include pomegranate pork, pomegranate mutton, and pomegranate chicken. You can also make pomegranate custard. Two recipes require the Nether's Delight mod: Spicy Grenadine Jelly and Glazed Strider.
Limes turn into key lime pie, candied lime, lime cookies, lime popsicles, limeade, and berry limeade. Savory recipes include honey lime chicken, cod ceviche, Mediterranean salmon, salmon tartare, and potato fritters. You can also bake lime cake or prepare fresh lime slices.
Portobello mushrooms can be made into baked portobello caps, stuffed portobello, portobello risotto, portoburgers, and portobello quiche. You can also make wild rice soup, mushroom pasta, and veggie wraps.
To line up with Neapolitan flavors, the mod includes lime ice cream, pomegranate ice cream, ice cream blocks, and milkshakes for both fruits.
