Colorize lets you right-click blocks with dyes, amethyst shards, or vines to change their appearance in Minecraft.

我们的介绍

这个项目能做什么

Colorize is a client and server-side mod that adds a simple way to recolor blocks using common items. You do not need complex tools or commands. Just hold a dye, amethyst shard, or vine and right-click a supported block to change its look.

The mod works with lots of building materials. Using dyes, you can color wool, concrete, concrete powder, terracotta, stained glass, glazed terracotta, shulker boxes, beds, banners, candles, and carpets. Each right-click applies the dye color directly to the block if it's supported.

Amethyst shards have a special use: right-clicking regular glass with an amethyst shard turns it into tinted glass. This is the only way to get tinted glass through the mod’s mechanics.

Vines allow you to create mossy variants of stone blocks. When you right-click cobblestone, stone bricks, or their slab, stair, and wall forms with a vine while sneaking, the block becomes its mossy equivalent. But this works without needing to find mossy blocks in the world.

The mod requires both client and server installation to function in multiplayer. Singleplayer only needs the client mod. It is built for Fabric, NeoForge, and Forge loaders. Supported Minecraft versions are 26.1, 26.1.1, 26.1.2, 26.2, and 26.3. These are the exact versions listed in the project’s metadata - don't assume compatibility with other releases.

Colorize doesn't add new blocks or items. It changes the appearance of existing ones using items you already gather in survival play. There are no configuration menus or keybinds to learn. The interaction is purely right-click based with clear visual feedback.

This mod suits players who enjoy building and want more control over block colors without using commands or resource packs. It fits survival and creative modes equally well. Honestly, since it only modifies block appearance and doesn't alter gameplay mechanics, it's safe to use on most servers that allow client-side mods.

The mod is lightweight and focused. It does not promise performance boosts or FPS improvements. Its sole purpose is to let you dye, tint, or mossify blocks with a simple right-click. All claims about supported blocks, items, and versions come directly from the Modrinth project page and its linked GitHub repository.
