这个项目能做什么
What Moonstone adds to the game Moonstone is a Curios-based accessory mod built around three distinct themes. The Abyss series trades defense for offense - you take more damage but gain access to stronger accessories that compensate for the fragility. Ancient technology accessories draw inspiration from forgotten city tech and grant effects like summoning sword formations, sonic boom attacks, and pacifying guardians. Virus accessories borrow from a well-known game franchise: the Necrora virus lets you convert mobs into a personal zombie army, while the Vampire virus summons bats on hit. A genetic module system lets you tune virus aggression further. ## Progression and resources A new resource called Spirit drives crafting. You earn it by defeating undead mobs or looting dungeon chests. Spirit is the key ingredient for most jewelry, while the remaining accessories are locked behind challenge tasks or conditional dungeon loot. The mod includes its own advancement tree that tracks your progress through these systems. Most items show Shift tooltips and custom panels that identify their category at a glance. ## Requirements and compatibility Moonstone requires Curios API Continuation or Curios API to run. Both client and server must have the mod installed. So it supports Minecraft 1.20.1 and 1.21.1 on Forge and NeoForge loaders. The author notes that recipes are viewable in JEI and that older versions aren't planned for backport except under special circumstances. Two standalone spin-offs exist - NightmareBase and NecoraVirus - if you want only part of the content. ## Who this suits Players who enjoy Curios accessory builds with high-risk, high-reward mechanics, tech-themed utility, and minion-style virus gameplay. The mod leans heavily on its in-game guide book for acquisition info, so expect to read and experiment rather than follow a linear quest line.
