Snuffles (Fabric)

What Snuffles adds to the game Snuffles introduces a new passive mob that spawns in snowy biomes. The creature has a thick coat of frosty fur and a large tongue that flaps when it moves toward you. If you hold a potato, nearby Snuffles will run over and can be bred with it. The frost on their fur isn't just visual - it leaves a trail of snowflakes as they walk. You can remove the frost with magma cream or by exposing the mob to fire. A warm Snuffle turns frosty again when it stands in the open during snowfall or walks into powder snow. ## Shearing and decorative blocks Right-click a Snuffle with shears to harvest its fluff. This trims the excess fur and reveals the mob's eyes. The fluff drops as an item that can be crafted into Snuffle Fluff blocks and Snuffle Fluff Carpets for decoration. Frosty variants of both blocks exist: Frosty Fluff and Frosty Fluff Carpets emit snowflake particles when stepped on, and Frosty Fluff also produces snowflake particles beneath it when there's no block directly underneath. ## Hairstyles and interaction Using a slimeball on a Snuffle cycles through four distinct hairstyles. And this is a purely visual change but gives you a way to customize each mob without commands or external tools. The mob requires both client and server installation, so it works in singleplayer and on multiplayer servers alike. ## Compatibility and requirements The mod runs on the Fabric loader only. Supported Minecraft versions are 26.3, 26.2, 26.1.2, 26.1.1, 26.1, 1.21.11, 1.21.10, 1.21.9, 1.21.8, 1.21.7, 1.21.6, and 1.21.5.
