Timber Frames

What the mod adds Timber Frames introduces a single block per wood type that you can cycle through dozens of frame variants using the broad knife. The variants connect automatically across any wall size, so you get clean corners, posts, and infill without placing separate pieces. Every vanilla wood type is covered, and modded wood types register their own frames automatically. ## How it works in practice You place the base timber frame block, then right-click with the broad knife to rotate through the available patterns. The connected texture system handles the rest - adjacent blocks detect each other and choose the correct sprite. No extra crafting recipes, no multi-block structures, just one tool and one block per wood. ## Who will find it useful Builders who want medieval or fantasy walls without juggling dozens of custom blocks. Server owners who need both client and server installs but want minimal overhead. ## Compatibility and requirements The mod runs on Neoforge, Fabric, and Forge. Supported Minecraft versions are 1.21.1, 1.20.1, 1.18.2, and 1.16.5. Both client and server installations are required. The 3.x rewrite isn't compatible with 1.x or 2.x world saves. Optifine may work but isn't recommended. Modded wood variants are supported automatically; missing types can be reported on the project GitHub. ## Licensing and distribution Released under the Responsive Source License v1.0. You may include it in modpacks or on servers as long as the files come from official sources.
