What Ultris Does
Ultris expands the vanilla game with eight new bosses. Each boss comes with its own quest line, rewards, and unique structure. The mod adds special items and new enemies that fit into the world’s lore. Boss encounters feature distinct music, sounds, and visual effects.
Who It Suits
If you enjoy challenging fights and want fresh content for both early-game and end-game play, Ultris offers a variety of encounters. The mod is designed for players who like adventure and magic themes and who want to explore new story elements.
How It Works
The mod is a datapack that can be installed on Fabric, Forge, Quilt, or as a pure datapack. That server side is required; the client side is optional. A mod ships with a command that lets you summon bosses via cheats:
/function 1_splatus:ultris/admin_menu
From the menu you can choose the “Summon Bosses” option.
Compatibility
Ultris supports Minecraft 1.20 and 1.20.1. Honestly, so it works with the following loaders:
- Fabric
- Forge
- Quilt
- Datapack
The datapack version can be paired with an optional resource pack for better textures. The mod is not maintained currently, so newer Minecraft releases may not be supported.
Community and Support
The author hosts a Discord server where players can ask for help and discuss the mod. A wiki exists with information on each boss, though it's incomplete. Contributors are welcome to improve the wiki via the Discord channel.
Licensing
The mod is released under a custom license. You may modify it for single-player or your own server. If you include it in a modpack, only the default settings file may be edited. Republishing or distributing modified copies is prohibited.
