What it does V veinminer lets you mine one block and have the whole connected vein break automatically. It works on ores by default and can be extended to any block or tool combination through block groups. The effect is server-side, so vanilla clients can join and use it without installing anything. ## Two distribution flavors Version 2.x is the full mod and plugin. It runs on Fabric, Quilt, NeoForge, Paper, Purpur and Folia. Version 1.x is a lightweight datapack that works on vanilla and snapshot servers with no mod loader required. Both ship with ore and pickaxe presets out of the box. ## Configuration depth The V2 release exposes a command tree for live tuning. You can edit veinmineable blocks, create block groups that share mining behavior, restrict groups to specific tools, toggle the feature server-wide, and adjust settings such as cooldown, maximum chain length, search radius, durability loss, hunger cost and a mining-speed modifier that scales with vein size. Permissions gate each command and an optional permission node can restrict veinmining to specific players. ## Optional client addons A client addon adds a hotkey so veinmining only triggers when you hold it, plus a preview highlight of the blocks that'll break. An enchantment addon introduces a Veinminer enchantment so the mechanic only works on enchanted tools. Both addons support Fabric, Quilt and NeoForge clients. ## Compatibility notes The mod is marked client-side optional and server-side required. That means the server must run the mod or plugin; clients may connect with any loader or vanilla. Cross-loader and cross-version addon support is claimed by the author. Supported Minecraft versions are listed individually: 26.3, 26.2, 26.1.2, 26.1.1 and 26.1. Don't assume a continuous range. ## Who it suits Server operators who want a configurable vein-mining solution that works for every player regardless of client setup. Pack makers who need fine-grained control over which blocks and tools interact. Players who prefer a hotkey or enchantment gate instead of always-on veinmining.
